Bio

I've been singing (and dancing and acting and generally hogging the spotlight) as long as I can remember. I started playing guitar at 12 because it was hard to find someone willing to follow me around and accompany me whenever I wanted to sing. My idea of heaven is center stage all to myself. That said, there is nothing I like better than sharing music with other people. Looking up and catching someone singing along while I'm playing is the best feeling in the world.

My musical taste and repertoire runs the gamut from Carly Simon and Carole King to Train and Springsteen and the Eagles and the Rolling Stones. I love to wail away on some Janis Joplin, have some fun with Simon & Garfunkel classics (can I get a cymbal crash on The Boxer, please?) throw in some Beatles tunes, flirt with a country edge on Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum, and the only thing I don't like about Crosby Stills, Nash & Young is having to decide which harmony part to sing.

When I'm not providing drinking music for my friends and family and all other willing participants at several local establishments, I also direct the Folk Group at Bethany Lutheran Church in Cromwell. Prayer, in my opinion anyway, is always better set to music. We generally play on the fourth Sunday of every month, and anyone and everyone is welcome to attend, even if you just want to come for the music!

I also provide music for wedding ceremonies and private parties. In other words, I'll sing for almost any captive audience if asked.
